Frequently Asked
Questions:
Why are these
online law school practice quizzes free?
-
Because you are the guinea pigs.
These quiz questions are intended to be used at some point in a
format that will be for sale. For now, you get to enjoy them
for free, and your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Who wrote the
law quiz questions?
-
The author of the practice test
questions is an older law student, Karen Kelly, currently in her
third year of a four year online program in California through
Northwestern California University School of Law. Karen has a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Law, and a background in writing,
research and media. Karen passed the California State Bar Exam
for First Year Law Students (often referred to as the Baby Bar) on
her first attempt. The pass rate for first takers is
approximately 25%. The FYLSE is required for part-time law
students by the California State Bar after completing the first year
of law school. The FYLSE/Baby Bar consists of both essay and
multiple choice questions, is as difficult as the Bar Exam, takes
approximately 8 hours to complete, and covers the law school
subjects of Contracts, Torts and Criminal Law.
How do you know
the questions and answers are accurate?
-
The online law quiz questions are
edited for accuracy by Senior Legal Editor Molly Mulrooney of
Preferred Words. Any quizzes
that have not been edited yet will be so noted. Author and law
student Karen Kelly uses several sources for each question and the
unedited questions should be accurate according to the rules of law,
however, any questions that are not yet edited are not guaranteed
for accuracy.
How may I
contact you?
-
Because of the demands of law school,
emails are rarely answered. However, your feedback would be
greatly appreciated. Email addresses are not included on this
website because of spam problems. However, the image below
will show a contact email address.
